The impacts of IT on individuals

 IT has impacted our lives positively and negatively with its introduction our free time is consumed by it as most people either read on their phones or play games or watch a movie on their laptop or TV and it means that we have a lot of things to entertain ourselves but its also a very negative thing. Some people have become very attached to their phones or gaming setup and most of the day after school or work they go on it which means less time with family or loved ones and it also means you stay more in the house which means less sunshine for your skin and there are research by doctors and scientists that have proven that the more time you don’t have sun light the more chances of depression you can have and you would get weaker because of the Lack of vitamin D and the more you stay at home and don’t go outside and exercise you would put on weight and potentially be obese unless you like bike or walk to work or school.

IT has impacted our communication with technology we can communicate with loved ones from across the world in an instant by calling them. With technology we can share more information to others like in work you can do emails and calls to get in touch with coworkers or do a meeting and some uses technology to share schoolwork like those YouTube channels tha6 teach maths and science and English for different levels like exam level or secondary level or primary level. There are negatives with this as people have become more isolated when they are mostly exposed to social media for the most of their day and some people have become so much attached to social media that they can’t be without it and overreached to small micro things that happen in the world regularly which most normal people call chronically online which means your on social media 24/7 and is a headache to hangout or talk too.

 IT has impacted on the way we find information as its much easier to get information now with technology. There are apps for nearly everything like how to eat healthy or like Duolingo where you can learn a whole new language and on YouTube there are tutorial videos for nearly everything like makeup and games and exams and food and working out. As much as a positive this thing is it is also negative as some people like to do this thing call baiting and its where they lure you with fake information to get views and likes and it mostly happens on YouTube and some of the information that is online is fake as some people use this to scam or fraud other people with fake information online and some use this to catfish people into a relationship or to get free money by making a fake persona or using someone else’s image or a random image online.

 IT has impacted our health gradually as our life expectancy has risen by a lot over the years with new breakthroughs in the medical world thanks to technology as we can make vaccines and chemotherapy for cancer and other life saving breakthroughs. There is also a negative as technology has effected our health for the worst as well as more people are needing glasses because of the blue light in computers and phones and some people have become obese because of technology as America has over40% present of adults that are obese and 30.7% overweight and the UK has 25.9% as obese and 37.9% as overweight which is massive as it means millions are overweight and obese  and the global scaling is 38% which means over a billon are overweight and some might be because of food addiction or stress but most are because they don’t exercise and stay on their phones or TV.
